Our teams at Shaare Zedek have to be ready for any situation.  To ensure this, they have regular training and special drills to make sure they all know what to do in case of an emergency.  Earlier this month the Emergency Response Teams took part in one of these drills, this time for a Toxicological Mass Casualty Event (TCME).  During the drill the teams had to look after the injured, deal with injuries from toxic materials and work in teams whilst ensuring they kept to the proper protocol.

Doctors from the American Healthcare Professionals and Friends for Medicine in Israel (APF), which includes healthcare professionals from the U.S. and Canada dedicated to ensuring Israel’s emergency preparedness all took part in the drill.  You can take a look at our teams in action in this short clip below.
