Oshrit Cowan – CEO
Oshrit joins Shaare Zedek UK with 15 years of experience in the charity sector. She has worked for The Anne Frank Trust, The Spanish and Portuguese Sephardi Community and at Norwood in various roles. She is excited to make an impact at Shaare Zedek UK and shared;

I have close connections with Israel through my family who historically come from the Machne Yehuda neighbourhood and lived next door to the original Shaare Zedek building”.
Katie Korklin- Director of Marketing & Communications
Katie is our creative communicator who designs and manages all of our marketing, advertising, publicity and communications. Katie is always happy to hear from friends and supporters of the hospital who are happy to share their experiences of visiting or being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Centre.
“My favourite part of my job is sharing the stories from the hospital. I also love hearing how people first got involved with us. Whether a grandchild was born there, or family members life was saved, or that they just love our calendar and have been using it for years! Over the years I have spoken to so many donors and built up some lovely relationships. Sharing their stories gives me a great deal of pride”

Emma Forman – Fundraising Manager
Emma has over 20 years experience both volunteering and working in the not-for-profit sector. She has worked for Norwood, The MS Society, British Friends of United Hatzalah of Israel and most recently Jami in their fundraising team.
She has a Degree in Design and during her time at University went to the B’nai Brith Beber Camp in Chicago USA for three consecutive years where her passion for community work and fundraising began.
‘I am really excited to join such a fantastic organisation that makes a vital difference to so many. I look forward to bringing as many people on board as possible to support Shaare Zedek, giving hope to us, hope to Israel and hope to the world!’

Emilie Morris – Accounts Manager
Emilie joined Shaare Zedek UK in September 2010. She is more than familiar with the hospital as her younger brother was born there and as a child she accompanied her parents to the old building for various appointments, whilst living in Jerusalem.

Gail Sterman – Operations & Administration Manager
Gail joins Shaare Zedek from a background in educational administration. She is the backbone that ensures the smooth running of the office. She also manages our Celebrations & Yahrzeit programmes.
