Simi Ben Hur – Executive Director
Simi comes to Shaare Zedek UK with a background in Communications and Public Affairs. With a degree in Law and Masters in Public Relations Simi has combined her vocational expertise with a passion for Jewish life in professional and lay roles. Simi’s family has a longstanding connection with Shaare Zedek; her father was born at the original hospital, Simi herself has been a patient, and a room in the cardiac unit is named in memory of her cousin Paul Waterman Z”L.

Katie Korklin-Marketing & Communications Manager
Katie is our creative communicator who designs and manages all of our marketing, advertising, publicity and communications. Katie is always happy to hear from friends and supporters of the hospital who are happy to share their experiences of visiting or being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Centre.

Shoshana Lesnick – Events and Special Projects Fundraiser
Shoshana joined Shaare Zedek in September 2017. Her previous role was as a buyer at Tommy Hilfiger. Shoshana has an extremely close personal relationship with Shaare Zedek, from time spent in Jerusalem and also through her late grandfather who was an extremely committed supporter of our Hospital’s work. Shoshana will be creating lots of exciting events in order to spread our message in the UK.

Emilie Morris – Accounts Manager
Emilie joined Shaare Zedek UK in September 2010. She is more than familiar with the hospital as her younger brother was born there and as a child she accompanied her parents to the old building for various appointments, whilst living in Jerusalem.

Gail Sterman – Office & Administration Manager
Gail joins Shaare Zedek from a background in educational administration. She is the backbone that ensures the smooth running of the office. She also manages our Celebrations & Yahrzeit programmes.
