Hope is Shaare Zedek’s mission and we are proud to share many examples of hope in the most challenging times in the latest edition of Heartbeat.
Last month Jerusalem suffered the deadliest day of terror attacks in over a decade. Many of our trauma and emergency team have been on the frontline of the biggest challenges Jerusalem has faced. You can read about how they cope with this and how they remain hopeful. We are so grateful for the support you continue to give. It has always been our vision to bring the hope and expertise of Shaare Zedek to benefit us both here in the UK and globally. Our new beginning in the UK is the appointment of Jonathan Paull as our new Chairman. Jonathan takes over from Michael Sorkin who has loyally served the charity for 16 years. I know you join me in thanking Michael for his service. Jonathan’s involvement and commitment to the hospital has grown since we first met him in 2014, and we are thrilled to welcome him as our new Chairman.
