£20,000 raised for Shaare Zedek
22 year old Zac Kanter ended a 100 week challenge to grow his hair and donate it to Zichron Menachem as well as raising funds for Shaare Zedek. He exceed all expectations and raised an incredible £20,000 for the Wilf Childrens Hospital.

Bus explosion in Jerusalem
We are saddened to hear about a bus explosion in the centre of Jerusalem, where at least 15 people have been wounded. Victims are currently being treated at Shaare Zedek.

Da Vinci (Robotic) Surgical System
At the end of March four special procedures were performed on children at Shaare Zedek using a new robotic system called the Da Vinci Surgical System. This is the newest and most advanced system available and we’ll be using it across a number of departments.
An emotional reunion
Shaare Zedek has paid tribute to survivors of recent terror attacks by holding an ‘Evening of Appreciation’ at the hospital to recognise the incredible work of our trauma teams.
