I am undertaking a fun cycle challenge for my Bar Mitzvah with my dad. I will be cycling to all the Premier League Stadiums in London in less than 24 hours!
Shaare Zedek is an important organisation as it helps to treat those most in need of medical treatment, regardless of race or religion.
The hospital continues to be amazing, particularly since 7th October. It also provides medical aid and resources in support of international relief efforts following major disasters across the world.
My parents are on the Advisory Board of Shaare Zedek UK and my mum used to head up the Trusts and Foundations in a fundraising role. My great grandpa and namesake, Sam, was a donor for many years through Shaare Zedek Canada and had a special fondness for the values of the Hospital and their work, as do I.
Recently, Shaare Zedek established an oncology centre architecturally designed to produce a healing aesthetic, called the Helmsley Cancer Centre. This is personally something that’s very important to me and my family as my late maternal grandma, Linda, who was also a supporter of Shaare Zedek, battled with cancer for several years.
Thank you for helping me raise money and meet my target!
